REGULATIONS FOR ONLINE FERRY BOAT BOOKINGS
- The online booking fee for the vehicle is €2.00 per trip. This fee is always charged, unless the booking is cancelled under the terms specified below. The fee is charged if the customer arrives on time for boarding (point 6) and uses the boarding priority correctly; it is also charged if the customer arrives outside of the designated boarding time (point 6), in which case the benefit of boarding priority is excluded.
- Bookings are only available online. For assistance and to make bookings for subscribers with an electronic wallet only, please call the DIME Contact Centre on (+ 39) 041 041 from Monday to Friday, 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
- When making an online booking, customers who are season ticket holders are required to provide their Pass Imob data (valid) and the licence plate number of the vehicle. Refer to the information contained in “Instructions for creating a season ticket holder electronic wallet” for the new booking method.
- Bookings are available from 30 days up to one hour before the scheduled departure time of the chosen journey, provided this is compatible with the technical requirements of the Lagoon Mobility Directorate in organising the Route 17 ferry boat service timetable.
- Two bookings for the same vehicle on the same itinerary are permitted, provided there is a minimum interval of two hours between them. Each vehicle is permitted a maximum of 40 bookings per month.
- Customers are required to arrive in their own vehicle no later than 20 minutes before the scheduled departure time of their booked journey. Upon arrival, proceed to the entrance barrier leading to the boarding lane and join the queue under the supervision of a sales assistant, queue marshal or other on-site staff member. If a customer arrives late, their boarding priority is void and cannot be used for subsequent journeys. However, in these cases, all tickets purchased are still valid.
- Bookings for the ferry boat service are not permitted for bicycles, motorcycles, road and agricultural vehicles, or lorries and articulated lorries.
- Bookings can be modified or cancelled up to 2 hours before the departure time of the relevant journey, directly on the following corporate websites: www.avmspa.it and www.actv.it - Customer Services - Bookings, or by telephone via the DIME Contact Centre (+39) 041 041, open daily from 08:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m.
- If a booking is cancelled, the refund is processed automatically. If the payment was made via the ferry boat wallet service, the refund for the cancelled booking is credited to the same ferry boat wallet account. However, if the payment was made by credit card, the refund is credited to the same card used for the booking.
- Changes to a booking made by an occasional customer are limited to the time and date of the booking. If the change involves the category or licence plate of the vehicle (even if it remains within the same category), then the booking must be cancelled and rebooked within the time limits defined in Article 8.
